Scrap-metal market prices move from week to week. The market at the time of sale is another part of the offer calculation.
Salvageable parts
An intact vehicle can retain parts that a stripped vehicle of the same model no longer has. The parts still present are assessed alongside material value.
Year, make and condition
These help show how much resale or recycling value remains. They are considered together rather than used as an automatic price list.
A firm number comes from seeing the vehicle. There is no payout table, automatic estimate or advertised range on this site.
A phone description helps us understand what you have, but an in-person look is what confirms condition and completes the offer. You can know which vehicle facts matter before collection without being shown a generic number.
This approach separates the explanation from the final quote. The firm offer is then based on the actual vehicle rather than an advertised range that may describe a different car.

Non-running vehicles
A vehicle does not need to start or drive for us to assess it. Free towing applies to every vehicle we buy, so collection does not depend on it being roadworthy.

Assessed using the same four factors: weight, the scrap-metal market, salvageable parts, and year, make and condition. Condition is confirmed in person.
Scrap and end-of-life vehicles
Assessed for the material and usable value that remains. We dismantle and recycle the vehicles we buy, in-house and with partner recyclers.
Trucks, SUVs and vans
Larger vehicle types are assessed through the same stated method - their weight, parts, year, make and condition determine the information needed.

Ownership, paperwork and recycling
Proof of ownership and Alberta paperwork
Proof of ownership is required for every purchase. We do not buy a vehicle without it, and we do not buy a vehicle while an active lien remains uncleared.
A lien must be cleared before the sale.

What happens after collection
We dismantle and recycle the vehicles we buy, in-house and with partner recyclers. This is the confirmed operating model for vehicles purchased through the service.
The offer assessment accounts for the vehicle's material, salvageable parts and condition, so both parts of the operating model are stated.
